Moeller PLCs on ships
On ships, controllers often remain in service for decades, and conversions are only possible during shipyard periods. We have experience with Klöckner Moeller controllers on German Navy vessels and support operators and shipyards.
What matters on board
- Program backup and decompiling as protection against failures at sea
- Spare parts for PS4, PS416 and other Moeller modules
- Modernisation during the shipyard period, prepared and tested ashore
- Complete documentation for crew and maintenance

How we work
Secure the existing system
We read out the programs, decompile them and document the function.
Prepare ashore
The new program and hardware are built and tested in advance.
Implement on board
Conversion and commissioning during the shipyard period, with as little time on board as possible.
Program already backed up?
We read out PS3, PS4-100, PS4-200, PS4-300, PS306, PS316 and PS416 and decompile the program, even without the original project.
Frequently asked questions
Can the modernisation take place during a shipyard period?
Yes, that is the usual approach. We prepare the program, hardware and tests ashore in advance, so that only the conversion and commissioning take place on board.
Do you also work on civilian vessels?
Yes. The approach is the same for government, merchant and special-purpose vessels. Contact us.
A Moeller PLC on board?
Send us the type and photos. We will plan backup and modernisation with you in line with the next shipyard period.
