Retrofit S7-300 to S7-1500
Siemens discontinued the S7-300 including ET 200M on 1 October 2025. Spare parts are becoming more expensive and scarcer. We migrate your plant to S7-1500 with TIA Portal before a failure determines the timing.
What we migrate
- S7-300 and S7-400 controllers with STEP 7 classic to S7-1500
- ET 200M to ET 200SP or ET 200MP
- PROFIBUS to PROFINET where it makes sense
- WinCC flexible and old panels to WinCC Unified
- S7-200 to S7-1200
More than converting
The migration tool in TIA Portal does a lot, but not everything. We check the result block by block, clean up legacy issues and test before the conversion. The process and project steps follow our retrofit process.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to migrate right away?
Not necessarily, but you should plan now. The supply of spare parts for discontinued products is limited in time and is becoming more expensive. A planned retrofit is much cheaper than an emergency.
Can the existing wiring remain?
Often yes, for example with front connectors or adapter systems. What is possible in your plant is clarified during the survey.
Is Beckhoff also possible instead of S7-1500?
Yes, if Beckhoff is your standard. The program is then transferred to TwinCAT 3.
Which controller runs your plant?
Send us the type, year of manufacture and a photo of the control cabinet. You will get an honest assessment of whether repair, data backup or a retrofit makes sense.
