Moeller PS24: retrofit in the existing control cabinet
PS24 plants are often the oldest in the factory and still run every day. We replace the controller with a Siemens S7-1500, in the existing control cabinet and with as little intervention in the plant as possible.
Project example: PS24 to S7-1500
The old racks were replaced by an S7-1500 with central I/O. With custom-made connector plates we reduced the conversion time to a minimum. The control cabinet remained in place, and the plant was running again after a short downtime.

Does the whole control cabinet have to be rebuilt for a PS24 retrofit?
No. The control cabinet with terminals and field wiring usually remains. The controller and I/O are replaced. With custom-made connector plates we keep the conversion time as short as possible.
What if there is no documentation left for the PS24 program?
Then we back up the program from the controller and create a functional description from it. It forms the basis for the new program and is agreed with you.
Which controller runs your plant?
Send us the type, year of manufacture and a photo of the control cabinet. You will get an honest assessment of whether repair, data backup or a retrofit makes sense.
