Suconet K: keep the Moeller fieldbus running or phase it out
In many Moeller plants, Suconet K connects the CPU with remote inputs and outputs, expansion modules and operator panels. If one station fails, the whole plant often stops. We find the fault, replace modules and plan the phase-out with you.
Typical situations
- Sporadic bus errors, individual stations drop out from time to time.
- An expansion such as EM4 or LE4 is faulty, and replacements are hard to find.
- Several Moeller controllers are coupled via Suconet K, and nobody knows any more how the data is shared.
- The plant is being converted, and the bus structure has to move with it.
What we do
Bus troubleshooting
Systematic checks of cables, terminations, station addresses and station diagnostics, on site or prepared via remote maintenance.
Replace stations
Modules such as EM4, LE4 and ZB4 from our stock, tested on request.
Understand the coupling
We read out the programs involved and document which data is exchanged between the controllers.
Phase out
Migration to PROFINET with ET 200SP or to EtherCAT with Beckhoff, planned for short downtimes.
Step by step instead of all at once
Coupled Moeller controllers do not all have to be replaced at the same time.
Where several controllers work together via Suconet K, we plan the phase-out in stages. For example, two coupled PS3 controllers can be replaced by a single Siemens S7-1200, with the signals reassigned. The basis is always the existing program, read out and understood.

Are spare parts still available for Suconet K stations?
We have many modules in stock, including EM4 and LE4 expansions. Send us the type designation from the rating plate.
Can Suconet K keep running while one controller has already been replaced?
That depends on the plant structure. During the survey we check which conversion sequence makes sense.
What is Suconet K replaced with?
Usually PROFINET with Siemens ET 200SP or EtherCAT with Beckhoff. The choice depends on your plant standard.
Bus errors or a conversion planned?
Tell us the controller, the stations and the fault pattern. A photo of the control cabinet helps.
